The joys of being a parent!

Eowyn is going thur this phase where if she takes a nap she won`t go to bed until 12pm or later. So I decided to stop giving her naps. For the most part she has been doing pretty good. She goes to bed around 9pm when she doesn`t nap. However between 5:30 and 6:3o is when she becomes a monster and I will find her trying to fall asleep. We have been trying to find ways to keep her a wake. Well today we decided that we were going to put her in the bathtub to wake her up a. Josh filled the tub and put her and her toys in and he went to go finish what he was doing, we left the door open so we could hear her. She was singing and talking and after a little while Josh went into check on her and he found that she had taken the cup we use to wash her hair and was pouring water out of the bath tub. She managed to soak the mat thats right out of the bath and we used 6 or seven of a big thick towels to soak up the rest of the water she had dumped on the floor. Nedless to say no more cup in the bath with out mom and dad in the bath.

Tristian on the other had will be six months on the 17 and he is almost craling. He rolls everywhere, he is all over the place and loves being right there with his sister. They are so much fun to watch. Eowyn will come up to him and make a funny noise which makes him laugh and then she laughs and they go back and forth for awhile. She is always making sure that he is ok and when he is crying she brings him his binky and tells him its all right.

Eowyn had alot of fun in the snow yesterday. She kept looking out the window and saying look mommy snow. She finally convinced daddy to take her outside and play. While they were outside they built a snowman. Mommy and Tristian stayed inside where its warm. She had alot of fun playing in the snow. When she came inside she had some hotchocolate and then she wanted to go back out. Today when we left to run some errands she was funny she said oh no my snowman (it had fallen over). Today we took some pics with tristian. Daddy decided to feed him snow to see what he would do. He liked it he just kept licking it.

Eowyn turned 2 on december 9, 2009 we went to out of this world pizza and she loved it. I can`t belive how big she is getting. hope you enjoy the pics

We hope are family and friends are doing well this holiday season and hope that you have all had a great year. I just wanted to update you all on are family. Eowyn- She just turned 2 and is very energetic little girl. She keeps us hopping. She is always coming up with new thing to keep us laughing. Tristian was born on July 17th 2009 at 12:08p.m. He 8lbs 9oz and 21 inches long he has been a wonderful addition to are family. He just turned 5 months and is all over the place. He is a very good baby. Josh has been at his job for a little over a year now and we feel very blessd to have his job. He is curently trying to train to run in and Iron man that is his goal for 2010, 2011 is to qualify to go to Hawii. Chanda is a stay at home mom and enjoys life getting to take care of her family. She is enjoying whatching her family grow. We have had a busy year we got to go to Utah in October for Chanda`s aunts 50th birthday party and to bless Tristian with all are family and friends.
